Mandy and I couldn't be happier about how Saturday went. We had approximately 115 people out for our walk. By adding everyone's distance together, we were able to add 600km to the "Walk Across Canada In A Day" event held annually by Jesse's Journey. That's just shy of walking across the entire province of Saskatchewan. When we first started planning the walk, we weren't sure what to expect. We hoped we could raise $10,000. We managed to top that mark. In fact, we were able to raise approximately $19,500 for Jesse's Journey. Incredible for a city of just 10,000 people. There's still a few pledges were expecting to come in, so we might yet top the $20,000 mark. There's still time if you'd like to help out. Check the How To Donate page for more details.
